- deliberately low-balling an estimate to later ask for more money (bait & switch)
- withholding customer belongings unless they pay significantly more than the quoted price
I had the misfortune of choosing JMR Logistix auto transport to ship my vehicle across the country, and it turned out to be a complete nightmare. The entire process was riddled with communication issues, as their customer service team “Juan” was unresponsive and constantly gave me conflicting information. Additionally, my car arrived at its destination with scratches and dents that were not present when I handed it over for transport. The company refused to take responsibility for the damage, and instead blamed me for not disclosing it beforehand. To add insult to injury, the delivery was delayed by over a week, and I was left without any means of transportation in the meantime. I would strongly advise anyone against using JMR Logistix for their auto transport needs, as it was a terrible experience from start to finish.
