Some examples of Moving Fraud
- deliberately low-balling an estimate to later ask for more money (bait & switch)
- withholding customer belongings unless they pay significantly more than the quoted price
THEY STOLE OUR CAR!!, We paid the contract in full to transport from Florida to California. When the driver got to California ( supposedly) he demanded more money. $1000 more. We finally said we would pay the ransom if we could see the car first but he refused and sent us a picture of the car on the side of a road. Then he told us he delivered the car near the delivery site and would tell us the location if we Zelled him the money so we took a chance and paid the ransom. Still no car but another demand for more money. It is one month past the delivery date and we do not have our car and Simon ( if that’s his real name) responded only one time and told us to “call the driver”. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are thieves!!!

The same thing happened to us, paid the deposit, $515 after we paid there was no communication on their part.
Did you ever get your money back?
Any suggestions on how to go about that?
My daughter paid $500 deposit and they never showed up. We waited 2 hours at the location for pick up. Tried contacting them several times with no answer.
Trying to get a refund. Any suggestions?
