Some examples of Moving Fraud
- deliberately low-balling an estimate to later ask for more money (bait & switch)
- withholding customer belongings unless they pay significantly more than the quoted price
BAIT AND SWITCH- quoted price $500, ended up being $1100.
LATE- shipped our truck 13 days past requested date
IGNORED REQUEST-asked that truck not be delivered on a Sunday because being shipped to a car dealership Guess what? it arrived on a Sunday after both All Star and driver reassured us it would not
SUMMARY Horrible experience! Do not fall for low ball price. I would check BBB in the future and find a company that is a broker and a shipper!
