BEWARE! I was initially quoted a price and put down a $200 deposit. Two days prior to pickup, I got a call from “Junior” claiming that he had 2 carriers each wanting $300 more than my contracted price. He said he was confident he could get one of them down to the agreed price. The following day he called back and said he could only get them down $100 and that it would cost an additional $200. I told him I had a contract and he said that amount was “pending driver availability”! At this point I had no choice but to pay the additional $200! The carrier was fine and actually got the car down earlier than expected. From reading other remarks it appears that $200 is the popular amount for increasing quote amounts. Stay Away!

My rating is a 0. I contacted them 3 months before my move just to feel out pricing. I didn’t have all the details of my move yet and informed them of that. The individual I was communicating with insisted I still make my deposit to lock in my price & it was ok to change the info later. That wasn’t true.

Roughly a month in advance I provide the move date and addresses for pickup and drop off. At that time I am asked to remind them of the price I was quoted. I resend the quote they sent me and I’m told ok. No mention of a price change occurs. A week later I realize it would be best to leave a day earlier, but understand that I might not be able to change the date. So I inform them it would be easier for me to move it up, but I understand if that isn’t possible. I’m told I can change the date and again no mention of a price change occurs.

I ask about details. They say they won’t know until 1 day before. I mention, I have to reserve a spot for them to pick up the car and ask if I should reserve the spot until midnight or if they can get it by seven. And tell them I need this info to arrange the time of my flight. He assures me that 7:00 PM is fine.

4:30 Pm the day before the pickup he calls me to tell me the cost is 200$ more due in 3 days. I don’t have 200$ extra dollars. I received a loan for the move based on the prices I was quoted.
-He claims it is not his fault-the movers want that, then he says its my fault because I changed information weeks ago, then says my budget doesn’t matter. Its too late to find a mover so I have to borrow money.
Then the transport vehicle gets in an accident. They can’t be there by 7:00. I have nowhere to leave my car and no one to leave keys with. I tell them to cancel the transport. I cancel my flight and drive 12 hours. The next day he claims to be looking into the refund. But then he calls and says he has the transport vehicle & won’t be refunding my deposit because he earned it by finding me transport. Please run away.

I recently shipped my car with Lynx Auto Transport for my move from Mobile, AL, to Dallas, TX. The booking was simple, and the pricing was clear from the start. They picked up my car a day later than initially planned, which was a bit inconvenient. However, their communication during this time was decent, keeping me in the loop. The car arrived in Dallas three days later, in the same condition it left, which was a relief. Their service was pretty good overall, but the slight delay in pickup was a bit of a letdown. Would possibly use them again, but I’d hope for better punctuality next time.

Nothing but lies from the beginning. I hired Lynx because they made promises on a delivery date. They failed to deliver on time. Then they assured me that I was on the schedule to have my car picked up from the dealership on a Saturday and delivered to me on Monday. Before I signed the contract, I specifically asked if pick up and delivery would take place on the same day and they said yes. Anyways, Saturday came and went with no pickup. I finally told them to cancel my contract and refund the deposit. They asked for two more days, which I reluctantly gave them. The car was picked up the following Wednesday at about 7 pm and delivered at my house at 2:30am. The driver waiting until morning for payment. Well there was a $200 discrepancy between what Lynx agreed to pay the driver and my contract total. At that point they basically told me to “do the right thing” and pay the driver as he delivered the vehicle. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. In the end I ended up paying the driver $100 more than the contract stated and we both agreed that Lynx screwed both of us. I ended up paying $100 and the driver ended up getting $100 less than promised. The only explanation they provided was that the route was rough. I dont even know what that means. DONT EVER CONTACT THIS COMPANY
