Buyer beware! I had the worst consumer experience of my entire life dealing with Worldwide Auto Importers and Logistics LLC of Mableton, Georgia, on what should have been the simplest of hauling jobs. The ordeal was rife with inattention to detail, broken promises, poor communication, missed deadlines, negligence and an utter lack of accountability. When I complained to the co-owner and director of operations, he didn’t even bother to reply.
Worldwide was the lowest bidder (you know what they say about those) for a job to haul a newly purchased camper to my home in North Carolina from an RV dealership in Indiana. After FIVE missed pickup deadlines and multiple excuses, the camper finally arrived SIX days later than agreed upon. But wait, there’s more! The hauler that was dispatched to deliver the camper negligently used an under-sized ball mount, causing the trailer to disconnect from the tow vehicle and sideswipe a guardrail. The camper showed up at my house severely damaged, and likely a total loss (pending an insurance claim). The safety chains were the only thing that had prevented a 2,000-pound missile from hurtling down the highway at 70 miles per hour, possibly killing someone!
If you want your vehicle, boat, camper or machine delivered on time, without damage, without risk to the motoring public, and without major chaos and hassle, don’t use Worldwide Auto Importers and Logistics LLC. Their incompetence was astounding, and they took no accountability for their dreadful (and dangerous!) service. In fact, the contract you will be required to sign was written by lawyers so the company can weasel its way out of any circumstance with zero accountability — even for its own non-performance, including missed delivery deadlines! I quote: “The broker does not guarantee the date or time of delivery.”
Dragging a little 12-foot trailer down a highway shouldn’t be as difficult as landing a rocket on Mars, but Worldwide Auto Importers and Logistics LLC made it so!
