Some examples of Moving Fraud
- deliberately low-balling an estimate to later ask for more money (bait & switch)
- withholding customer belongings unless they pay significantly more than the quoted price
Do not use this company! We were told, after a deposit, that our trailer would be at it’s destination waiting for us at a specific date and time. We were there waiting with time to spare. We called to see where the driver was. We were told that the driver never picked up our trailer and it would be another several days before they could get it to us. They told us a specific time and date and then nothing. We bought airline tickets, hotel rooms and all the extras and then this. We has to drive across 6 more states to get to where our trailer was to pick it up ourselves, we lost a weeks worth of work and all the extra expenses with the unexpected travel. After all of this they were going to keep our money and sue us for breach of contract. After a lengthy conversation we were agreed that we were to get a full refund, a conversation I recorded. Days later we received a text saying that his system showed that the funds were confirmed to be back in our account, they were not! Stay away!!
