Some examples of Moving Fraud
These guys are complete fraudsters. Quoted me low ball figure and then failed to show up, then said they could move the car three days laters but the cost had gone from 700 to over 2.5 grand. Stranded me with a car in another state and completely screwed over my family holiday.
Im really kicking myself for not finding this review site prior as the pattern of behaviour matches exactly that of the comments above.
Have a bunch of fake texas names but are actually an indian scam crew.
Agree ! Never heard a word from them after setting up transportation! I attempted to reach them several times. Let messages etc. Finally, I get a call from someone called “William” and he tells me the driver is in his way. Too late! We already had to find another carrier who was very attentive to our urgency and picked the car up that night! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I agree I had a percent. I don’t know how to write a negative review on this site but if I would, I could they lowball me, they didn’t show up. I think the transportation company was also a fake they raise the price. They waited three more days then they really raise the price. I’m glad I took my credit card and Stopped payment never do business with this company
James Ron quoted me $345 to ship my car from AZ to TX. He sent me driver’s contact but driver never responded. James stopped responding to me. I reached out to “corporate” and manager Davin Anderson . The driver backed out and now they want to charge more than double! They had me hostage even tho James told me not to worry and that the driver was secured. BEWARE!! DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR BAIT AND SWITCH SHODDY BUSINESS!!
Real pieces of Sh*t like everyone else they quoted me a price of $ 395 then when it was time for pick up they wanted $695. Then they never gave me a valid driver name or phone number they were made up numbers. Now they will not answer my calls at. Do yourself the biggest favor you can for yourself ( Never, Never, Ever, do business with these scam artists!)
Speedo quoted me a cost of $975 to transport my vehicle from Spokane, WA to San Antonio, TX on May 4, 2024. The vehicle was supposed to be picked up on May 28, 2024. The week before pickup I called Speedo to confirm everything was a go. On the day of the scheduled pickup, Speedo called me and said the driver wanted more money to transport my vehicle and the new cost was $2,149. I explained I signed a contract with them for $999. Speedo said it was only an estimate and that the cost increase was out of their hands. I said I would drive the car myself rather than support this type of business practice. I have contacted the credit card company to get the $150 deposit back that I paid to Speedo. In my opinion, Speedo is a fraudulent company that tries to extort money from their customers by demanding huge, last-minute cost increases. They count on their customers having no other choice but to pay the last-minute cost increase.
It should not be required to rate these scammers, if it’s too good to be true … I was quoted $825 to transport Portland to Houston. Several days before the pickup I received a call from Kevin stating the driver’s price was $1300. I said good, does he also want a Mercedes. Scammers plz don’t deal with these people. I called my visa to dispute the $150 deposit and I’ll share all the replies on this page. I don’t think I’ll have any problems with visa refunding the $150
WARNING SCAMMERS SPEEDOCARSHIPMENT
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by Speedocarshipment. Our experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
We scheduled a pickup well in advance, only to be informed at the last minute that there was no driver available. The company’s excuse was that they were “looking for an available driver,” which is unacceptable and unprofessional. After a prolonged wait, we were eventually told that a driver was available, but at a price that was three times the originally agreed-upon amount. This is clearly a bait-and-switch tactic, bordering on a scam.
The lack of communication, transparency, and integrity in handling our shipment is alarming. We feel misled and exploited by the sudden and unjustified price hike. This experience has severely damaged our trust in the company, and we will not be using Speedocarshipment again. We were told that we have to pay for cancellation for their fault. We submitted a fraud to our bank for the deposit.
I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious when considering Speedocarshipment. This level of service is simply unacceptable.
Sam Smith, Speedo Carship, gave me a quote, in writing, for $775 (CA – FL open) including 298lbs of luggage. His actual words ‘the total cost to ship your vehicle will be $775 which is all-inclusive with no hidden charges’ – the final quote, at the last minute so there was no time to shop, was $1,300. The company he used was supreme, the car got to FL clean, on time and unscathed. The shipping was perfect, the broker has no integrity and can lie without conscience. I wish I can gone direct to the shipper, IRA Auto Transport (305) 345-6646
BUYER BEWARE. CAUGHT KEVIN IN A LIE SAYING THE TRUCKER IS REQUESTING XTRA FUNDS, DONT DO IT. AFTER 4 MONTHS OF GOING BACK AND FORTH ABOUT THE DRIVER NEEDING A FEW EXTRA $100. A REFUND WAS FINALLY TALKED ABOUT SAID 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS. THAT WAS BACK IN SEPTEMBER AND THEY WON’T ANSWER. AT THIS POINT I CALL 20-30 TIMES AT THE WORST HOURS OF THE NIGHT. THEY’LL HAVE TO PAY ME TO STOP MAKING FALSE INQUIRIES
This company is a complete joke. I had a bad feeling about them and it was right. I scheduled them to pick up a tractor and implements on Monday morning and then drove 6 hours so that I could load them. Monday morning came and there was no contact from a driver and the rep. was looking for another. Waited around all afternoon and still no driver. I wasted a weekend and lots of gas for nothing.
They wanted a down payment with Venmo or Zelle and I told them I didn’t have those options, so luckily I paid my $100 down payment with a credit card and I am obviously contesting that since they didn’t deliver the service promised. If I had not, then my down payment would have been gone and they would have won. So, do not give them any money down if you cannot get it back. Better yet, save yourself a lot of frustration and don’t use this company at all. They should have their DOT revoked.
Company was a scam. Quick to take your money then quote you twice as much to move it due to “changes in the market”. Then refuse to return your deposit. Reported to BBB and no response was received.
Marcus Brown representative for Speedo Caship has been playing dumb at returning my deposit of $150. Had signed a legal contract to have car shipped from Hollywood florida to El Paso TX for ULTIMATE PRICE according to contract for.$625. Day of transport with supposedly driver waiting price increase of $250 more. So $875 with need to make decision right away. Still waiting for return of my deposit due to fraudulent service. Need to have business license revoked.
Be aware that this company will provide a quote but will not be able to fulfill the promised pick up and delivery date. They will try to increase the price.
Signed contract for ultimate price of $625 to transport car from Hollywood florida to el paso texas. Hour before pickup Marcus Brown informs me that driver needs $250 more and I need too de ude quickly. Signed contract never mentioned extra money, asked for refund of my $150. So far nothing, have notified my bank about fraudulent transactions.
THEY LOW BALL THE PRICE AND AT THE LAST MINUTE HIKE THE PRICE UP STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKS THEY PROMISE YOU EVERYTHING AND DELIVER HIGH PRICE AND NO TRUST IN THIS COMPANY
This website is FAKE. STOP and REMOVE all FU*KING FAKE REVIEWS. OTHERWISE WE GONNA SUE AGAINST YOU. YOU NEVER POST ANY POSITIVE GOOD RATED REVIEW. Please don’t believe all reviews at this website. All reviews are given by other competitor companies to pulling our legs.
This is who you are dealing with folks. Of course they failed to own their predatory bait and switch business practices. Speedo made several attempts to post fake positive reviews as well. This company operates out of Pakistan FYI. In less than 1 year they have managed to rack up so many bad reviews they have earned spot #4 of 7 of the worst auto transport companies. Speedo is well on their way to being the #1 worst rated company. Congratulations!
worst car shipper – no integrity

I got stuck in a small town where I was at for work, when my brand new 2022 Acura stopped running all of a sudden. A brand new battery didn’t work and no mechanic would even look at my car, I was stuck. All other places wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to transport my car 200 miles but Simon from Speedo Carship worked with me and got me a very good deal and got my car to the dealership in my hometown within 24 hours. I give 5 stars to this company for going the extra mile to get me a good deal and quick service. Thank you Simon for all of your help!

Awesome experience
if I could rate it lower than a 1 star I would. i had the same expeirnces as everyone here
i have bad experience with this company all scams , steal my money never pickup the car , the name of contact is Sam Smith he steal my money
These guys use deceptive bait and switch tactics quoting one price then doubling it before pickup. After wasting 3 days of our time and then they want to charge $350 dollars to cancel the contract that they didn’t honor.

Great experience all the way through. I’ve shipped my car in the past but communication was typically done over the phone or in email. It was nice being able to track my vehicle on their website from my order number. I didn’t have to reach out much to them at all while the car was on the way. I knew what was going on just about every time I checked. Car arrived in Miami without any problems and they were nice enough to give it quick rinse before handing me the keys.
never try to use these guys they are scammers, clearly they will soon go to jail, the following are their phone numbers 737-377-3950 and 737-377-2270. One is call Mike he is crook. Don’t fall for them
This is a serious scam company and I advise people not to use them. The took initial fee and lied that they have had a driver to pick my car for $350 but went to post $650 and coming back to request more money. I cancel the deal since then they could not refund my deposit. They are thieves hiding somewhere scamming people hard earn money. Those guys are Asians from either India
Do not use them.. scammers.. quoted all along a low price and when the final day before the driver was confirmed suddenly the price went up $300 and you had no choice to back out unless you lost all your deposits also asked for a down payment for supposedly gas payments for the driver of $150 plus the driver did not deliver the car to the address had to go to a public street to pick it up total stupidity and wrong and they do not want to believe they did anything wrong so they should be removed from any legal car transport options
PS if there was an option to give no stars I would the person who I spoke to by the name of Kevin was extremely rude at the end while all along he was a smooth talker to get you sucked in
This is 100% a scam do not give them anything. They will call and harass you for a week telling you that they have your quoted price. I spoke with James they haggle you for your deposit once you pay them the day before they’re supposed to pick up your car. They’ll call you and tell you that the trailer is broken down and they had to find another one adding an extra 500 to your fee. This is a complete scam. They won’t return your money and they won’t answer your calls.
Crooked company, called the day before the shipping date and doubled the price. I cancelled the service and they somehow got into my debit card and made $300 in fraud. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!
Totally agree.. I should have read some of the comments on this company from day one I had my doubts but they were confirmed quoted One price just before sending added an additional $300 then head lousy communication with the driver had to go and pick up my car on a Main Street and haggle for a difference of $5 total waste of time and a lot of stress I do not recommend using Speedo car ship at all I have also contacted the Federal trade commission and made a complaint hopefully they will be blacklisted so they do not continue to scam people
DO NOT USE THEM.. SMOOTH TALKING SCAMMERS FROM THE INITIAL QUOTE YOU WILL BE PAYING A LOT MORE AND YOU WILL GET STUCK TRYING TO GET OUT OF IT AS THEY DO IT LAST MINUTE SO WRONG SPECIALLY KEVIN HART

My BMW X5 was shipped from CA to TX in good timing with a respectful crew handling the process. Solid communication allowed a simple drop off and pick up with the dispatch always around during the day to answer any questions. The car got there with no damage and no dust at all from choosing the enclosed trailer option. I’ll be using them later on down the road to ship the vehicle back. Thank you Kevin Hart and Thanks Speedo Carship.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!!!!
needed to cancel and was told i needed to pay $200 to cancel my reservation and it hasn’t been 24 hours yet!!!
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! DONT DO IT!!!
STAY AWAY! At all cost – I would leave 0 stars if I could.
On 6/20 I was in back-and-forth communication with a representative (Henry Brown) via email, text, & phone. He guaranteed me he had a driver en route who would be available to pickup our car on 6/26, & a price was agreed upon; we signed a contract inclusive of these details, & I paid the required deposit. I received a receipt for the deposit & balance to be paid in cash cash to the driver at the time of delivery. 2 days before pickup I asked for the carrier name & estimated pickup window. I was told I would get that info Monday morning. Come Monday, he stopped answering calls & texts. When I attempted to call the office/main line, Kavin told me Simon (the alleged manager) would call me back.
When we received the return call, & after an hour of confrontation – we were told “we didn’t know how business worked ”, & regarding the contract our attorney reviewed we were “threatening them, & that taking them to court would be wasting our time.” Simon then attempted to send us several pieces of information via text from no other number than that of Henry, the supposed “representative”. This confirmed our suspicions that there is in fact only 1 man running this scam.
After speaking with “management” they claimed a ‘good friend carrier’ could pick the car up next day for $2,900; a $2k rate increase from our contracted price (deposit fully paid) when they were called out on the contracted pickup day 6/26/23.
We finally agreed to a doubled price of $1,750 with pickup again guaranteed next day & information for the driver was sent to us. Surprise! The information was in fact also fake, & the car was not picked up.
We eventually made contact with the intended trucking company & scheduled independently with the independent trucking company & they picked the car up. During this 48 hour stretch, contacting Speedo was also a series of hoops; ignored calls, hour delays in messaging, & having to beg for updates that never came.
