I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience with Titan Moving was so deceptive that I feel obligated to warn others.
It all started with a text from Jerry:
“Good Day! I am happy to ship your vehicle for $300 (EXACT PRICE). Your Order ID 19601737.”
This seemed like a trustworthy deal. Later, when I was in the process of securing transport, Jerry reassured me that other companies use bait-and-switch tactics, but he didn’t. He even stated:
“I never ask my customers for a deposit because I’m here to provide a service.”
Yet, when I asked for a quote, he provided $735 and requested a deposit. Based on his earlier message, I assumed a driver had been confirmed—wrong.
Here’s how the scam unfolded:
1. Initial Quote: $735
2. Day of Pickup: Price jumped to $1,285
3. After Negotiation: Settled at $1,085, signed new paperwork
4. Before Delivery: Suddenly, a new demand for $1,585
5. Under Duress: Paid because they threatened to hold my car in storage
Despite their contract stating they would provide insurance details and an estimated delivery time, they failed to do so. When I questioned the price hikes, Charles (who claimed to be the manager) admitted that bait-and-switch is an industry standard and that I wouldn’t have used their service had they been honest from the start.
Their business model is built on deception. If you refuse to pay the extra charges, they hold your car hostage. Learn from my mistake:
• Do not trust verbal or text agreements—only trust what is written in the contract.
• Ask if the quote includes broker fees upfront.
• Read everything carefully before signing.
• Record all communications.
• Check reviews carefully—avoid companies with bait-and-switch complaints.
I should have trusted the one-star reviews. Avoid Titan Moving at all costs. You’ve been warned.
This version keeps your key points while making it easier to read and digest. Let me know if you’d like any changes!
They are scammers. Dot d
Fall for their prices. They are just wast your time and money. Someone called manager arguing for refund my money I have paid. They are just scamming people. I will complain about this consumer forum.
scam. do not use. they will quote you one price then when you use electronic signature to sign. they will type up a new quote doubling the price and illegally move your electronic signature to the new fabricated quote that was not agreed upon. As I’m typing this me and my friend to whom this happend to are on the way to the way to police station to file a police report. Edit: I just found another review on another site that had the same issues.
I fell for it too. They are definitely a scam company. Do not use them.
