    An absolute nightmare. I needed to ship my car from Texas to Virginia, and I received quotes from about 12 different companies. I decided to book with Fairways Logistics because of the competitive price they offered and because of generally positive reviews. I booked the shipment three weeks in advance and paid a $150 non-refundable deposit. The day before the scheduled pickup, Fairways contacted me to tell me they could not find a driver to transport my vehicle. Finally they did find a driver who could pick it up a day after what was originally scheduled. When they sent me the updated invoice, the cost was $500 more than what the it signed agreement was. The vehicle was picked up and delivered to the destination, again a day late, and when I refused to pay $500 more than what my signed agreement stated, the driver and his manager became aggressive. The manager cursed me out over the phone and screamed for a good 15 minutes. Finally they had to leave my vehicle with me because I had a signed agreement and I paid what was agreed upon originally.

    I would absolutely discourage anyone from ever working with Fairways logistics. What a horrible situation.

    I was quoted $550 for two vehicles, these are japanese import kei trucks, I made my deposit and was contacted several days later to say that they could not find a driver willing to make the trip for that price, I was then told to be patient and they would find the “lowest cost” transport, I was given a new price of $700 (for both), and again contacted to be told that the drivers trailer was not operational, so finally on the day I needed to depart Virginia for my move to Ohio, I was contacted that morning to say that a driver was found for $870, and they would pick up that morning before 11am, 11am came and went, I called and was told to wait until 1pm, then 2pm, then 4pm, the driver finally showed up at 6pm, he didn’t speak any English, he was from the country of Georgia, he was rude, aggressive, and did not seem like he wanted to take the job. When my vehicles arrived in Ohio the same driver was again upset that I didn’t have cash to hand him, I had been told I could pay through Zelle, which is a service my bank offers, he didn’t seem happy with that but accepted it, he again became irate because the money didn’t post to him immediately, after me showing him that I had a confirmation the money was sent, he begins calling someone and yelling at them in whatever language he was speaking, he finally sees that he’s received the money and storms off yelling something at me that didn’t seem like a thank you. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
