⭐ 1-Star Review for American Haul LLC
Absolutely unacceptable experience. We booked auto transport with American Haul LLC — agreed on a fixed price, date, and paid a deposit upfront. Everything seemed confirmed.

Then, a day before pickup, they suddenly started calling and messaging us with the usual “market volatility” story, claiming insurance prices had mysteriously doubled overnight. Long story short — they jacked up the price by $1,000 and delayed the shipping date, effectively breaking every term of the original agreement.

At that point, we canceled and walked away — but even then, they refused to refund the full deposit, citing a made-up “cancellation fee,” and returned less than half. The rest? Gone. No real explanation, no professionalism, just pure scam tactics wrapped in excuses.

This was bait and switch, plain and simple. They lure you in with a good quote, take a deposit, and then wait until the last minute to extort more money, knowing you’re under time pressure.

Avoid this company at all costs.
Unethical, dishonest, and a complete waste of time and money.

I only gave one star because 0 is not an option. They are a scam. Good luck of you do business with them. You will get screwed over.

Horrible Experience – Dishonest and Unprofessional!

I had an awful experience with American Haul LLC, and I strongly advise against using them for car transport. My initial call with the sales rep went smoothly, and everything seemed fine—until the dispatch manager, Denver Alfonso, got involved. That’s when everything went downhill.

Denver was completely incompetent and unprofessional. He continuously lied throughout the process, from changing the price after the original agreement to falsely claiming they didn’t have the correct vehicle type—despite clear documentation in both pictures and text messages with their own sales team.

Communication was terrible, delays were endless, and they took zero accountability for their mistakes. This company is dishonest and unreliable. Thank god for me they sent a driver who they gave wrong info to and they ended up canceling the transport. So i then canceled with AmericanHaul as the lies they told the driver they hired were just to far. Told him he was picking up a dodge when he was picking up a vintage Chevy camper van. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable transporter instead! Beware beware beware

This company is a scam. Please dont go with them.
They are all liars who are here to take your money.

This company is the worse ever. They promised a set up price to sign the contract then they never showed up to pick up my car, 3 days later they doubled the price.

Beware of this company told me $560 to move my car. On the day of the pickup. They waited till the last minute they call me and to $880 to move it. I will never do business with them. And Beware of theses foreigners they get real slick.
