This service is highly unsatisfactory and reckless. I strongly advise against using it. Despite booking a pickup 40 days in advance and being assured of its readiness, I reached out to James only 48 hours prior to my trip to confirm and was informed that they had made no progress and were powerless to assist me. Their handling of the situation was woefully unprofessional and irresponsible. Without delay, I turned to another provider who was able to book a pickup within the day, despite the short notice. Engaging with Car Carriage was an utter waste of 40 days, making it clear that you’d do better looking elsewhere.
Please avoid using this company at all costs. We had made a reservation several months beforehand and were informed that our car would be picked up by 5/17 at the latest. James Taylor, the representative we’d been in touch with, had been cordial and pleasant throughout our interactions leading up to the scheduled pickup.
However, when the pickup date arrived and our car was not picked up, we tried to contact James but were unable to reach him. We left numerous messages, all of which went unanswered. To this day, James has yet to explain the delay or call us back.
Since we had already flown home, we were left with no choice but to arrange for emergency transportation through another service. This was an incredibly stressful situation, worsened by the unprofessional and unreliable nature of this company.
Be cautious! After requesting a cancellation of the quote, James sent me an unexpected fee of $150 titled as a “Dry Run Fee”. I contacted him to clarify about it but he responded with verbal abuse and disconnected the call. Puzzled by his odd reaction, I opted to pay the fee as James seemed deeply disturbed by the quote cancellation.
