- deliberately low-balling an estimate to later ask for more money (bait & switch)
- withholding customer belongings unless they pay significantly more than the quoted price
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Coast to Coast Auto Transport and I can confidently say that it was a complete disaster. Jane Falcone took my money for the job and promised me that a driver would be assigned to pick up my vehicle. However, this was just the beginning of my nightmare.
The driver never showed up and when I called the company to inquire about the status of my shipment, they disappeared. Phone calls were not answered, voicemails were not returned and emails were not replied. I was left without any idea of where my vehicle was or what was happening.
The worst part of this whole ordeal was the fact that I was left stranded with no transportation. I had to make alternate arrangements and incurred additional expenses to get around. All of this could have been avoided if Coast to Coast Auto Transport had been more professional and communicated with me about the status of my shipment.
I would strongly advise anyone considering using this company to reconsider, as I have never dealt with a more unprofessional and unreliable company before. Jane and Lee Falcone do not care about their customers and only care about taking your money. Save yourself the headache and find another company to transport your vehicle.
